Purdue received the last of three expected signings on Thursday as Narbonne post Indi Johnson made it official for Purdue."Indi is big and physical around the rim, and she understands how to play a role," Kristy Curry said. "The experience of winning she has gained at Narbonne is irreplaceable."
Curry calls her three newest Boilermakers the best "impact-type" class she has recruited since being named head coach at Purdue. Joe Smith of Women's Basketball News rates the three-player class as the second best recruiting class in the nation.
Purdue has two scholarships remaining to offer the class of 2003, and the staff hopes to find a center to sign in the spring and round out the incoming class of 2003-04.
